SNEAK PEEK ~ NANNIE AND ME

This gorgeous trio is Rawinia, Aewa-mei and Awa-Kiu. Rawinia (nannie) booked herself a photo shoot to celebrate her birthday (yesterday) with her super cute grand-daughters. And after a little encouragement their beautiful mum joined too.

For Rawinia the photo shoot was about a day being pampered with those she loves. But also about creating memories that her mokopuna will treasure for years. Just like the portraits that she has with her grandmother, this image will hang in pride of place in Awa and Aewa's home for their whole lives.

The most rewarding part of the photo shoot for me was the very last look, one just for Rawinia. With a red feathered and tulle robe, a subtle smile on her face and the click, click, click of the flash bringing out her confidence and inner spark. It was so beautiful to see her shine from the inner out.
