This vivacious and beautiful lady is Delwin. After surgery and an astonishing weight loss of over 116kgs, she booked herself a photo shoot to discover her new 'self'. She has always been full of life, and now she gets to be even more bubbly, and rightly so... she brought sunshine to our day.

We have had the honour of photographing many incredible women like Delwin who go through such a big change of identity that it is hard to recognise and believe their new reflection. "Body Dysmorphia" is negative self-talk where you 'imagine' what your body size is, rather than actually 'seeing' it. It happens to petite, plus-size and everyone in between, and it can be debilitating.

To have a photo shoot is not only to experience a confidence-building day of self-acceptance but also to create priceless and permanent reminders that you are beautiful. It's about quietening the negative self-talk that tells you you're not good enough yet, that you're not 'X' enough. It is our goal to ensure that everyone who takes home beautiful portraits falls in love with themselves and just how amazing they truly are, like this fabulous lady.
