Can you believe it’s Anzac weekend already?
Do you get up for the dawn service? Do you remember them, their memories, their bravery, do you treasure their photos..?
As a portrait photographer I am acutely aware that what we create for our clients will out live them, it will out live me. I pride myself on knowing that our prints and frames are guaranteed to last a lifetime, that's 75+ yrs. Why? because a photograph is never more precious than when it’s too late. When someone you love is gone… We can all think of someone we love who is no longer with us, someone near and dear to our hearts. Their photos are priceless, hanging in pride of place, or resting on a mantle or shelf with other mementoes.
Have you ever considered this will happen to you one day? You never know what might happen. I hope we all live a long and fulfilled life, but if my time comes tomorrow I want to make sure the photos I leave behind are one’s I’m proud of.
