I love a craft challenge

Last week I had an invite to a high tea with friends and to up the fun we decided to do a hat making competition. So three weeks after the invitation and on the day of the function I ran into Arthurs, my favourite crafting mega-store.

I spent half an hour going round in circles trying to figure out what I was gonna make then raced back to the studio and got out the trusty hot glue gun. I wanted to create something special that I could use in the studio with a client one day.

With one metal headband, cable ties and copper spray paint I started to make a masterpiece. I then added fake flowers, shiny blue beads and I spray painted some beads copper too. After researching a little more I saw a picture on Pinterest about oriental inspired headdresses and decided I had to add the tassels too :D
