Soft and golden

This is the beautiful Sonya, we got to capture her and her two children way back pre-lockdown. They patiently waited until we could show them their portraits at level 2 and then recently decided on which one would hang on their walls at home :)

I love this image; it's colours are soft and golden, with the warm metallic frame from Queensberry. A precious moment immortalised in time before the kids grow up.

I am so proud and excited when a family comes into the studio to pick up their framed images. It's that moment when they get to see themselves as art, hanging on the wall in pride of place that makes it all so real.
