Druis and James

This week we welcomed Druis and her son James into the studio, for a day to celebrate mum and all she means to the whanau. This is the second shoot for James and upon reflecting on his own images, he realised that he didn't have any up to date photos of his mum.

So together all three of us planned outfits and backdrops that were casual and relaxed. Poses that allowed her to feel comfortable in front of the camera and took away the nerves of being photographed.

A few jokes later she was grinning from ear to ear, and proof that even the those who are 'doing it for family' will end up really enjoying themselves.
