Four Generations, One Family.

On Wednesday we hosted the absolutely lovely Jean and her whanau, she is Mother to two, grandmother to three, great-grandmother to four and that's just counting the girls! On top of that they brought with them heirlooms dating back to her grandmother, in essence capturing 6 generations in their collection of images. 

In youth it's so easy to dismiss photos as something trivial and unnecessary, however as we look towards what we want to pass onto the next generation we start to think "what will our legacy be?" I know for Jean these incredible photos of herself are not just for her now but for her mokopuna in the future. Her pride today, their pride tomorrow.❤️

Needless to say it was a day filled with fun, laughter and love when we captured the beautiful Finlayson family. This is just a snippet of the nine people (including kids) that were squeezed into our studio.
