On Saturday the beautiful, kind, gentle and caring Sue came into the studio to celebrate an upcoming birthday with us. To create portraits of herself that showed her elegance and beauty at this stage of life. 

At times we all hide from the camera, as a fellow introvert I understand completely. But imagine having incredible photos of yourself at every age; to see the innocence of youth, the adventure of your teenage years, the personal growth of your twenties and thirties, then the caregiver, with the wisdom, the understanding and elegance that only comes in the second half of life. Imagine having photos that showed your best side, no matter your age. Imagine the confidence you would have to step forward into the next stage of your life. Imagine meeting yourself over and over, each person anew. Someone more amazing than the last.
