This gorgeous lady is Jaya, a bright, colourful and joyful woman. She was lucky enough to win one of our As I Am competition vouchers. And as someone who works so hard looking after family, working at the hospital and running a small business as well doing something just for her was "the best way to show her confidence and attitude".

We love working with and photographing people in their cultural outfits, from korowai to sari and even kilts. Although we don't have any as an everyday part of our studio wardrobe, we jump for joy when you bring your own pieces in.

Celebrate your heritage, your costumes and accessories, teach us the significance of each piece so we can capture you how you want to be seen. For Jaya, this more contemporary dress and jacket shows her heritage and her love of dance, custom made in one of her favourite colours, she just shines in it.
